Former United Kingdom police officer Mark Sexton has shocked the world.

In America there is a term “March Madness” which refers to the time of year when high school boys and girls’ basketball teams are competing for state championships, and college men’s and women’s teams of all sizes are competing for national championships.

In this basketball “March Madness” context, former United Kingdom police officer Mark Sexton would be described as “the clear underdog who is seen as having no chance, yet, in true ‘Cinderella Team’ fashion, defies all odds and goes on to victory in the championship game, against the prohibitive favorite ‘Big Dogs’ team.”
