The State Of Palestine.

PalestineAlphabet The video was made by the National Consensus Government of the State of Palestine as part of the presentation of its National Early Recovery and Reconstruction Plan at the Cairo conference on October 12, 2014. The video shows the extent of the damage Gazans have endured during the seven-week Israeli military assault beginning in July 2014.

Over 2,100 people were killed, of which 580 were children. During the Israeli military campaign one in four Palestinians in Gaza were forced to flee, while tens of thousands of homes were either partially or completely destroyed. Gazans now face shortages of shelter, food, energy, and water as winter rapidly approaches.

While over 100,000 men, women, and children became homeless from the 50-day Israeli siege, Gazans’ agriculture, trade, and industry were essentially brought to a halt, resulting in thousands losing employment and income. At the United Nations Security Council 7,281st meeting of October 21, 2014, the international community expressed unanimous agreement on the urgency of greatly accelerated action in bringing about Palestinian independence and statehood.

    1. Stuart,
If one goes to YouTube channel “Frank Barat” he uploaded the Russell Tribunal 2014 on Palestine from a month ago. The witnesses give the world an unbelievably powerful, disturbing account of what happened during “Protective Edge”, the extremely worrying philosophy (if one can call it that) of Israeli society, and the urgent need for strong global response to arrest this criminal state called Israel. Every human being should go to YouTube and watch the Russell Tribunal on Palestine 2014.
      Thanks,
      Jerry

    1. Michele,
How are you. A child 8 years old in Gaza has experienced 3 Israeli massacres. To your question, when the world joins together and forces Israel to end its war crimes, prosecutes Israeli leaders at the International Criminal Court, and uses raw moral human power to bring about an independent State of Palestine. The United States government has a lot of blood on its hands from failing to prevent or speak out against, and supplying the weapons for, Israel’s maintaining of apartheid and committing major war crimes. War criminals becoming jailed and ending mass murderers’ acting with impunity is essential to bring peace.
      Thanks,
      Jerry
