A large percentage of independent news groups/journalists continue being astonished by the unprecedented separation between Ukraine narratives. It seems to many people that the reporting on Ukraine by corporate mainstream media (MSM) and the alternative/internet news may as well be coming from different solar systems, as far apart are their descriptions of events. One of the commentators on this “Crosstalk” describes the “diametrically opposed narratives” phenomenon, another as “beyond Orwellian”.
While Ukrainians stood in large numbers protesting in Kiev from November 2013 to February 2014 before President Viktor Yanukovych became ousted following a bloody coup, over 100 civilian protesters and police were shot down in sniper attacks. The protests in Ukraine received huge coverage on Western corporate news programs. During that time, similarly sized anti-austerity protests in Spain, Greece, and Italy received little or no Western media coverage.
U.S. Senator John McCain didn’t show up in Spain, Greece, or Italy to deliver any motivational speeches, and Victoria Nuland was nowhere to be found with bags of cookies and coffee for the men and women also seeking change – or to express her “solidarity”.
The MSM were reporting a Russian convey of trucks filled with humanitarian assistance for Eastern Ukrainians as a “Trojan horse”; some news groups calling the convoy an “invasion” of some sort. It’s interesting to count heads and see who has expressed any concern for displaced Ukrainians who’ve lost their homes, or are finding it difficult to get food, water, electricity and heating gas because infrastructure has become destroyed – while winter’s cold temperatures are certainly around the corner.
One of the commentators finds it “extraordinary” that U.S. and European media have embraced government propaganda with its “insidious effect” of becoming personalized in the minds of its recipients; influencing their perceptions of all later reporting. The “peak” of propaganda is seen with MH17, when pro-federalist Ukrainians in the East and Russia were nearly immediately blamed for the July shoot-down and 298 fatalities. The blame was intensely reported/repeated with no concrete evidence whatsoever.
The nations involved in investigating MH17 have signed a “non-disclosure” agreement, so if one decides any information about the investigation must not be made known to the public, that information will not be heard in any official announcements. The “Maidan Massacre” was never the subject of MSM reports, nor was the “Odessa Massacre”. The press no longer carries out independent investigations on events, and, in most instances, journalists/editors who question the “official story” become the victims of character assassination.
During the program Mr. Clark notes that, by only suggesting the possibility of Ukraine’s government in Kiev being involved in the destruction of MH17 in the days after, he became the target of attacks. This while never saying Ukraine was responsible for the downing. One of the other guests compares the recent media blitz of “Russian invasion” to 2003’s Bush/Blair accusations on Saddam Hussein’s “weapons of mass destruction”.
What exactly are the world’s leaders focusing on; what are their top priorities?
Which world leaders are calling for urgent humanitarian efforts and aid to help desperate families in Ukraine, Gaza, Iraq, Syria, and other nations – after wars unleashed on their homelands have destroyed so much?

So my question now is, “When will all the “Humanitarian” concern turn to somebody’s idea that militarism is an answer to aggression? I feel the rumblings of world war and I am looking to responsible “Heads” to prevail and to control the situation – – without appeasement of course.

How are you. If it were up to me, the world’s wisest elders (men and women) would be brought in all expenses paid to solve the conflict. MH17 is a very big factor. It seems Ukraine (Kiev) shot the airliner down. The Western media and governments have gone silent on MH17 for weeks, and the investigators aren’t saying a word to the public. That would change everything real quick. I am afraid the author you recommend has hit the nail on the head. I fear the beginnings of a world war that nato could not win – – but then if a nuclear conflict should develop nobody would win. I was in the Air Force and I know what might happen if somebody gets trigger happy on the nuke buttons.

As one who leans on simple analogies, if we were neighbors the law keeps me from taking a rifle, threatening your life to the point where you flee your home, and I take it over along with your 20-acre garden and the natural gas you discovered. Then, if your neighbors/friends try to oppose me, I take out the big guns and start killing them. The world’s most harm-inflicting criminals have not received punishment for their actions, so there hasn’t been any deterrence to stop what is essentially mass-murder and grand, grand theft. It’s plausible the super-rich know humanity is becoming aware of their criminality, so they’re grabbing as much natural resources/assets as possible before the game is over or severely curtailed. How far they’ll go is the most important possibility for consideration. A lot of men and women the world over are doing all they can to prevent war. Thanks.

John, the Protocols of the Learned Elders of Zion is the blueprint for the new world order. Lets face it for 100 years the Rothschilds, Duponts, Bush clan, Rockefellers, Lazards , Warburgs and royal financial dynasties of Europe and the American military industrial complex have engaged in nihilist imperialism and war profiteering and engineered the consent of an unrepresented and misinformed nation of sheep, while manipulating the ‘UNFREE’ capitalist market system to destroy democracy and the will of the people. Every War , perhaps including the American Civil War , has been orchestrated by the ruling class tyrants, both domestic and abroad for profit. Eisenhower warned us in his 1961 farewell speech. The Kennediys were America’s best hope. They were all murdered including Jon-Jon. Robert F. Kennedy Jr. alone survives, and he may soon fall . Auto accidents, small plane crashes, induce heart attacks, random acts of violence. These are all the acts of the national security agency, and they answer to the Federal Reserve.
The money controls the politics and America is a Plutocratic Fascist Terrorist state. Talk about double speak? The war on terror is actually the state sponsored terror war , the war on drugs is actually the state sponsored drug trade, just like the Opium Wars of the 19th century. British MI6, the CIA, NSA, and MOSSAD choreograph every major, and many minor supportive geo-political event..
The regime in power fears most a united, informed and armed population that is not divided, confused and afraid. The normalization of deviation and the engineering of consent are the two most important methods of dividing and conquering a large population. Rule of fear and fear of deprivation are central to the maintenance of despotic power.
One simple answer is for every single American to file for bankruptcy and screw the banks and squat in their homes. refuse to pay, refuse to leave. Also, refuse to vote, shut down the polls, shut down the propaganda media by refusing to watch the fabricated news. Refuse to pay your energy bills, refuse to drive, refuse to work. Steal , disobey, just do NOTHING VIOLENT, except sabotage the ruling class and Wall Street’s ability to oppress us all. This is civil disobedience. Gene Sharp needs to be a name spoken in every home and understood by every head of houshold. Leave the comfort zone, go off the grid. DEPOSE THE TYRANNY- EXPOSE THE TREASON.

‘Beyond Orwellian’, is figuratively exacting if that is not itself doublespeak. To illustrate , my father in law , who at times agrees with me on certain geo political issues, at others accuses me of radicalism, explained to my young daughters who had no clue what he meant , at the dinner table one night that there was a book he read called 1984, and that the situation today in reality certainly is far more sinister than was portrayed in that book.
