All The Ineffable, Infinite Things.

361a-1“Search for the truth is the noblest occupation of man; its publication is a duty.”

– Madame De Stael (1766-1817)

Could it be true that every single man and woman who has ever lived not only represents the greatest book ever written, but actually is the greatest book ever written? Now, there is a theoretical proposition which challenges one’s intellectual and philosophical engineering skills for sure. As each ultimate masterwork of writing – each human being’s life journey – is being written, the book is simultaneously being adapted to the big screen. The big screen, the movie, is the life each lives on Earth, followed by movement into the infinite and eternal.

Abstract has been defined as “apart from specific matter, theoretical, and hard to understand”. So, what is there to gain from entering into the idea that every person is the greatest story ever told, and because of that there is no higher or lower, better or worse, valuable or less valuable? Answer: the awareness that in ultimate reality there is no difference whatsoever between human beings. Here one sees the truth behind what Christ was saying when he spoke the words, “whatever you do to the least among you, you do to me.”

But surely this is an idea that is too big for the year 2014. Yet, it is representative of eternal truth which is infinitely more dramatic than the “you can’t handle the truth!” line delivered by Jack Nicholson in the movie; eternal truth which resides in the souls of each man and woman. The eternal truth is ineffable – that which cannot be described. Those who have gone through a near death experience (NDE) have experienced eternal truth, yet are unable to find the words to fully describe it, because it is ineffable.

Fortunately those who have had NDEs are able to describe the scenery of eternal truth, yet it is nigh impossible to describe what eternal truth is. There is a consensus among the men, women, and children that their experience had profound messages; most concentrated around love. Is it possible that personal NDE accounts offer humanity the greatest nearness to a supreme aspect of life, and surpasses the masterworks of philosophers and artists and scientific thinkers until now in 2014?

Although death is the greatest fear that people have, what is there to gain by facing death intentionally and directly? It is possible that facing death squarely and directly will allow one to feel a camaraderie with every human, animal, and plant on Earth. Pantheism means: “the doctrine or belief that God is not a personality, but that all laws, forces, manifestations, etc. of the self-existing universe are God; belief that God is everything and everything is God.”

Now, this writer is not one who has any desire to “convert” others or “proselytize”. I find no satisfaction at all in proving any sense of “higher” knowledge or insight into the meaning of life, but do feel that a shared exploration through the inner worlds every person can reach through thought can lead to previously undiscovered territories of the mind and soul.

Now, this kind of exploration has nothing at all to do with being the “first” to discover an idea or concept. One could look at this kind of intellectual effort as one which has as the goal finding a new way of looking at life on Earth. This includes all the miraculous philosophical and spiritual works and writings of men and women through history until today. There is absolutely no doubt that individuals have articulated tremendous concepts through the centuries – leading humanity to very dazzling heights on metaphysical mountains.

Can humanity climb any higher metaphysically?

Mount Everest has a peak; a point where it is impossible to climb higher. From the perspective of metaphysics, the branch of philosophy concerned with ultimate nature of reality, there is no available proof of the existence of an analogous metaphysical “peak” like the physical Mount Everest. Perhaps the most realistic assessment of the success or failure of collective metaphysical thought is found from examining conditions on Earth.

When one begins to look at conditions on Earth in 2014, it does not take very long (think “in a heartbeat”) to become aware that humanity can climb higher metaphysically. While humanity climbs to ever higher heights and finds out more about the ultimate nature of reality, it simultaneously goes deeper inside – to the places in the heart. If humanity is fortunate there will be a collective discovery of that place in every human heart, and the heart of all living things, where resides the ultimate nature of reality.

“I know now that there is no one thing that is true… It is all true.”

– Ernest Hemingway

Humanity is on an evolutionary path swiftly leading to a worldwide state of affairs where thoughts, words, and actions are in service to ultimate realty – unconditional love. Oh, but that is only so much mumbo-jumbo and gobbledy-gook; a wishy-washy utopian “pipe dream” that will never happen. Roman statesman and philosopher Lucius Annaeus Seneca (c. 4 B.C.-65 A.D.) said, “There never has been a genius without some touch of madness.”

So, take comfort in the words from Seneca spoken in the first century. What you may mistakenly feel is experiencing of some type of madness is actually your brushing up against the universal, inherent human quality of exceptional natural ability. Correct this misperception once and forever, and remove this powerful, unnecessary self-infliction of pain. Understand that being human includes possessing higher, nobler, and more truly powerful benevolent resources – discovered in silence with gentle exploration.

Rest assured and know that the human race will correct its collective misperceptions, unlock the doors to exceptional natural ability, and walk through the entrance to ultimate reality.

And soul by soul arriving at unconditional love, forgiveness, oneness, and heaven on Earth.

“He that hath ears, let him hear. There is a light within a man of light, and it gives light to the whole world. If it does not give light, there is darkness.”

World Peace Begins With Justice For Palestinians.

ocean44“It is the way of Tao not to act from any personal motive, to conduct affairs without feeling the trouble of them, to taste without being aware of flavor, to account the great as small and the small as great, to recompense injury with kindness.”

– Lao-Tzu (c. 565 B.C.)

Open-air prison. This is what many describe as the situation which 1.8 million Palestinian men, women, and children of Gaza live in. After 65 years it is time to settle the Israeli-Palestinian conflict once and for all. Can any sane person on this Earth not see, understand, and acknowledge that this decades old problem must simply be solved peaceably, justly, and, most importantly, in a truly honorable way?

Honorable in the sense that the people of Palestine, Israel, the Middle East, and the world are each and every one sacred beings – equally deserving of the ultimate respect, and reflections of the Creator/God.

See in your mind’s eye a newborn Israeli baby lying next to a newborn Palestinian baby and think deeply about the world they are going to grow up into. Take a good long time and look upon those two little ones next to each other; look into their eyes deeply. What is going through your mind as you look at these precious ones? What do you think their future will look like, and do you see them ten years from now playing together and laughing – the best of friends creating pleasant childhood memories which will last their lifetimes?

And what are the chances that twenty years from now they will be sitting next to each other in a university classroom, while their professor delivers a lecture on the 2014 Israeli-Palestinian peace initiative which changed everything in Palestine and Israel, the Middle East, and the entire world? These students will read about the actions taken by men and women on Earth in 2014 – actions of the highest possible honor – that changed life on Earth for the better, forever.

Israelis, Palestinians, and all human beings on Earth will for peace

“The power of love, as the basis of state, has never been tried… There will always be a government of force where men are selfish…”

– Ralph Waldo Emerson (1803-1882)

Perhaps it is time to try love as the basis of states on Earth. What would happen if the people were able to vote on such a proposal? Imagine every nation on Earth allowing a referendum which asks each citizen to vote on whether to make the power of love the basis of their nation-state. Could it be beneficial to let that concept sink in for a few moments?

Perhaps making the power of love the basis of states is an impractical proposal. But is it impractical? The power of love will no doubt be an essential aspect of any agreement between Israelis and Palestinians which leads to a true peace. It is obvious that the effort to create true and lasting peace between Israelis and Palestinians will only become successful if love is present – a present, motivating factor.

Although political leaders rarely, if ever, speak the word love when discussing matters such as the decades long struggle between Israel and Palestine, let it be known that without speaking the word love a true and lasting peace will not become realized. Speaking the word love is the key which will unlock the door of peace in Israel, Palestine, the Middle East, and the world.

Consider asking yourself why in the year 2014 there is division and hatred and violence in lands around the Earth. Is the possible reason that, because political, military, academic, religious, and civilian leaders are not speaking out loud the word love? Consider this possibility deeply and there will come the moment of awareness that it is true.

“Ahimsa [infinite love] is a weapon of matchless potency. It is the summum bonum of life. It is an attribute of the brave, in fact it is their all. It does not come within the reach of the coward. It is no wooden or lifeless dogma but a living and lifegiving force. It is the special attribute of the soul.”

– Mohandes Gandhi  (1869-1948)

Peace and reconciliation between the Israeli people and the Palestinian people is entirely possible. What will turn the possible into reality is simply love. All people in the Middle East love their families and friends. The solution is not a one-state or two-state solution – the solution is love. This is how it has been on Earth from the beginning of time until here in 2014 – and how it will be until the end of time. There is no debate about this because it is universal truth.

Universal truth has come to enter the world and the lands of Israel and Palestine, and abiding by the laws which correspond to universal truth – the laws of love, forgiveness, and peace – guarantee an outcome that all people will respond to with agreement, joy, and happiness.

The first step toward everlasting peace for the people of Israel, Palestine, the Middle East, and the Earth is looking deeply into the eyes of the newborns.
