Jeremy Gilley has invented a profound movement. He had an idea to name the date of September 21 as the “International Day of Peace“. His idea became a reality when the United Nations voted to do so in the General Assembly. Mr. Gilley recently created a documentary about his amazing experience -“Peace One Day: The Journey”- which should give any man or woman who views it a strong sense of potentials and possibilities.

I too believe peace has to be the path. Thank you for writing such a great blog. I hope you don’t mind but I’ve linked back to your blog in my next post which will be published just after midnight tonight in Australia. We (my husband and I) recently visited Nuremberg. tonight I’ve been writing about my visit to that city.

Nice to meet you. It’s interesting that your article on Nuremberg includes the Jimi Hendrix quote, as another commenter used the same quote a few hours ago. A very good, appreciated writing. Gotta love “coincidences”! I’m reminded of another quote from Chief Seattle, “I will fight no more forever”. Yes, it is time for war to become extinct, found only in the history books. Humanity has experienced more than enough of the heart-breaking events of war. Thank you for your efforts to help create a peaceful world. As Norman Cousins said, “Mankind invented war. Mankind can invent peace.”
