Bill Black is a professor of Law and Economics at the University of Missouri-Kansas City. He was one of the heads of fraud investigation and prosecution during the Savings and Loan Scandal of the mid 1980’s, where over one thousand people holding top management banking positions were prosecuted and convicted of financial crimes.
He is one the most important voices in the world on financial fraud and criminality. He was recently invited to testify before a Congressional committee only to find himself “uninvited” at the last-minute. Bill Black is a man who advocates integrity and will not back down from telling the truth.

Matt Taibbi? Rolling Stone? Just kidding, Jeff!… Bill Black and Matt Taibbi are definitely on the same page regarding Wall Street corruption. When Eric Holder says that there will be harm done to the economy if CEOs of “Too Big To Prosecute” banks are convicted, the word that comes to mind is collusion. The guy who gets busted for stealing food for his family surely feels harm done to his personal economy. I mean, this lack of prosecutions is absurd. Another case of separate justice systems. Bill Black is one helluva smart man.

Isn’t that absolutely ridiculous? Our economy was basically destroyed by those who contrived this and yet, they are still in the driver’s seat and still receiving multi-million dollar bonuses while the very people who bailed them out are now going through sequester. Don’t that just beat all???!!!!!

Public banking is coming to be talked about more, where in some states there are initiatives to establish them along the model provided by The Bank of North Dakota. When you boil it down who wants or needs privately owned central banks like the Federal Reserve in control? One has only to look at what is occurring on Earth with regard to economic conditions to realize that it’s time for monetary reform. Dennis Kucinich at least tried. Public central banks would place the money control and power in the hands of the people. The only obstacle is that lawmakers in Washington D.C. want to be re-elected, as well as stay alive for many more years. This battle over control of monetary systems has been going on for centuries and is coming to some type of conclusion. The current money power arrangement, begun in 1913 with the Federal Reserve Act, has to be altered in a way that is for the greatest good of all.

Like all of us who enter the writing world, it is an effort to communicate in such a way that people who read the words may be helped in some way. It is an interesting activity, the potential of which I am only beginning to scratch the surface. It is a challenge to use words in a way which is careful to remember the power of those words. My worst fears with writing are harming a reader in some way, or conveying erroneous information, which is harmful as well. We do the best we can, as honestly as we can, and hope for the best. I’m always interested in adding to my list of great authors/books to read. Would you have a couple of suggestions?

I will understand if you do not post this comment. I am turning out to be somewhat of a ‘militant’ because I have had it with the status quo. So, the books that I read, I would not recommend them to you as they are not ‘peace’ like at all. I will just stick to ‘liking’ what I read and refrain from commenting here because when I look around at what we(as a society) have ‘devolved’ into, I am filled with disgust because the ‘minority’ that controls the ‘majority’ are absolutely corrupt and greedy. When we have so many ‘needy’ the world over, I just cannot for the life of me understand why we ‘stand’ for this. You have read some of my posts and you know how angry I am because I see the suffering every single day and it breaks my heart and when I think about what is behind it, that is when the anger sets in.
Thank you for giving me the opportunity to explain to you why I am the way I am. Things have got to change. Something has got to give.

When we look at what has occurred through history it is understandable that there is frustration and anger. Perhaps there is a difference between anger and righteous indignation, if you know what I mean. It seems that any man or woman will naturally have to deal with these emotions, as they have an awareness of the pain and suffering of people on Earth. For what it is worth know you are far from alone in this world regarding frustration, anger and righteous indignation about the conditions, the state of affairs on Earth. On the positive side, many good people who experience these emotions are joining and discovering ways to diminish or eliminate those conditions on Earth which are the source of the emotions we are discussing.
