13-Year Old Challenges World Leaders.

Posted July 27, 2013 by Jerry Alatalo

Victoria Grant is thirteen years old. Like all thirteen year olds, she has an intense curiosity, a strong desire to know, why things are the way they are on this Earth. How many of you think that ANY world leader will publicly address Victoria’s concerns? How many world leaders will help Victoria, and a rapidly increasing number of adults, men and women from all countries around the world, …to understand …to understand …to understand?

    1. Indrajit,
This young girl deserves a response from high officials in government. There are many in political positions who are, or will be, aware of this young person’s oration. Many men and women of all age groups share the same concerns. These concerns have to do with extremely consequential matters for humanity, and are legitimate. They must be addressed.
      Thank you,

Hopefully this young girl’s strong words will be the catalyst for a long overdue, worldwide conversation on financial matters. Given the historical, harmful, negative events that humanity has had to endure, the time for spiritually mature discussions across the Earth has arrived.
      Thank you,

This gives us reason to be optimistic about the future. All people, young and old, deserve enough respect from world leaders to address this young lady’s easily recognizable, absolutely important concerns.
          Thank you,

  1. Hello Jerry 🙂
I am very thrilled to have found your blog (still exploring) and especially glad to watch this video.
In reply to your question, sadly I don’t believe that those who sit in the high political positions will ever listen and reply to her speech.
To me it is apparent that the political and business leaders of the world, who devised and are carrying out their evil plan, are psychologically incapable of compassion, remorse, emotions, empathy, etc. They appear mentally healthy individuals but they aren’t – they are delusional as to their exceptional status and entitlement, while consciously deceiving and manipulating their environment.
Another fact: narcissists and all sociopaths do not respond to kindness, reasoning, or to any friendly or peaceful approach. My concern is therefore: unless we positively stop them, the global elite will NEVER give up executing their plan to turn this planet into a global scenery of the trilogy Hunger Games.

    1. Skywanderer,
Men and women around the Earth are discovering spiritual wisdom in a large way in these times. Humanity is learning all that was once held in secret by those who manipulated people for personal gain. As the awareness of the realities on Earth by people around the world increases each day, the thinking about ways to deal with the discovered situations increases as well. Those good thoughts which would not have been entertained if the secrets remained secret are coming out, and being viewed on the millions of websites around the world. Now everyone knows what has been done by people through history and today. Not everyone, but you know what I mean. So now, as I mentioned, people are spending a tremendous amount of time thinking about positive solutions. In my view, shared by many millions of brothers and sisters, the solutions must include a very large dose of spiritual wisdom and maturity. A new world is coming. Some call it a new paradigm. Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “The power of love, as the basis of a state, has never been tried… There will always be a government of force where men are selfish…” I believe humanity is ready to try the power of love as the basis of states. It may sound far-fetched but I believe the vast majority of people on Earth would vote for love. There is a misconception that nonviolence, peace, love and forgiveness are signs of weakness. They are signs of strength and spiritual power derived from the Creator/God/Allah/Great Spirit. That power is absolute, infinite and eternal. Check out the blogroll and visit Near Death Experience Research Foundation (nderf.org), read a few of the personal accounts, and you will get a better sense of where this humble, fellow traveller is coming from.
Thank you, Skywanderer. Nice to meet you.

I look forward to reading your writings and perhaps we will enter into some interesting discussions which will lead to friendship. There are so many opportunities in this space to bring people together and share thoughts that allow us to look back when we are 80 years old and know that we tried to improve conditions for our brothers and sisters. Then, when we go to the spirit world, hopefully we can look back and see that we helped in some way to increase love and light on Earth.

You may have read A Course In Miracles. If so you know the passages always come across as new.
“Within your hand is everything you need to walk with perfect confidence away from fear forever. And go straight on, and quickly reach the gate of heaven itself.
For he whose hand you hold was waiting but for you to join him. An ancient hate is passing from the world, and with it goes all hatred and fear.
Look back no longer, for what lies ahead is all you ever wanted in your hearts. Give up the world! But not to sacrifice. You never wanted it.
What happiness have you sought here that did not bring you pain? Joy has no cost. It is your sacred right, and what you pay for is not happiness.
Be merciful unto your brother, then. The will of God forever lies in those whose hands are joined. Until they joined, they thought he was their enemy.
But when they joined and shared a purpose, they were free to learn their will is one. And thus the will of God must reach to their awareness. Nor can they forget for long that it is but their own.”
ACIM is one of the many, many profound spiritual writings that men and women are finding. The phenomenon of people finding these texts has fueled a powerful, real spiritual evolution on Earth. Now we find science and spirituality coinciding. The word love has only four letters. It is not a polysyllabic word that many believe signifies “superior” intelligence. But there is more intelligence and wisdom contained in the little four letter word love than all the books in every library on Earth. Where love is present, happiness is present.
              Thank you,
              Jerry

Thank you so much – yes, I am familiar with above world-view – I used to share these views until I realised the tragic fact: while the better half of mankind shifted into meditation in the past three decades the evil actually grabbed the power over us.

My concern only deepens with each day, as I am convinced: for creating heaven on earth something essentially more and different is needed than what the spiritual approach alone can offer. Reminds me of this statement of the Dalai Lama: “I have become sceptical. I no more believe that meditation and prayer will change this world. I think what we need is action.“

Spirituality and action are not mutually exclusive. One could say that the major social changes that have occurred through history, whether humanity was fully aware of it or not, were based on recognition of injustice, hate, war, greed, desire for power etc. People feel and know the difference between right and wrong according to their conscience. Conscience has everything to do with spirituality. Mahatma Gandhi and Martin Luther King are two examples of people spurred into action because of their deep spirituality. The Dalai Lama’s saying the words “I think what we need is action” is itself taking spiritual action. Love is the only power which can end the causes of humanity’s errors. Love is the only way.

I thank you for your reply. I am very grateful for this conversation, and I do agree with you. I also believe that spirituality and action are not mutually exclusive.
My concerns are merely to seek new answers and new ways to the explore how love can save us, because the most tragic truth is this: today the world is filled with most hatred and misery – in fact it is more hell-like than ever in history, DESPITE the dear sacrifices these spiritual leaders, and some others have made. I have read several spiritual books which in their very content subverted love into a universalist unconditional love and forgiveness towards everyone, which naturally includes forgiveness and love towards those who have driven the world into the current fatal stage. I find the universalist kind of love one of the root causes why the evil has gained an unprecedented dominance on earth.

My replies here therefore are merely to say we need a paradigm shift to understand the concept love in the context of our struggle.

There is one crucial point that I don’t see to be discussed anywhere: the individuals who are driving our world into a global disaster simply don’t understand the concept or emotion “love” neither in a social sense or in any other way. Psychopaths are comparable to aliens or robots – their world and ours are mutually exclusive. They exist in another dimension where the objective way of understanding love – the way Christ taught us – is simply not applicable. They even believe that while they pursue this global destruction and genocide, while they manipulate the world, lie and cheat, they do so in the name of “love”.

This also means: on one hand we do understand love but our understanding can’t be carried over to the world of those who would need to be changed for the sake of the change in the world.
Versus the widespread myth this is an objective fact revealed by psychology: psychopaths NEVER change.

For these reasons I am convinced that love alone is not enough for our struggle and our hopes to create heaven on earth. I do agree that love is the basis of our struggle yet we need a paradigm shift towards understanding how to build our struggle upon it.

                    1. Skywanderer,
At risk of sounding simplistic love IS the new paradigm. Thank you for your willingness to discuss world issues with a view of the importance and effectiveness, or lack of importance and effectiveness, of love. There is a theory that love is all that exists, everything else is an illusion. Now we enter into an examination of the whole set of reasons for existence on Earth. We are into the search for the truth of ultimate reality.

I guess the place to begin is the “end”: death. Every person we meet is going to leave the body; we are going to leave the body. Are our souls eternal? The people who have had a near death experience (NDE) seem to think so. When one thinks about eternity there is a definite alteration of one’s entire perspective. The reason I lean on personal NDE accounts is that the information these people bring back resonates with me and is the closest to describing ultimate reality. These men, women and children are forever changed by what they experienced on the other side. To a person they all made statements to the effect that words cannot express the magnificence, beauty, love, compassion, and peace they experienced.

A few years back I ran into a customer, a young fellow who had obviously been injured severely in an auto accident. I asked him what happened and he confirmed that he was in an accident and almost died. So half jokingly I asked him if he had a near death experience. He answered yes and that it was 1,000 times better than sex. After a moment he corrected himself and said it was a billion times better than sex. Today I would have interviewed him for this blog, but at the time it turned out that I never saw him again.

These types of personal accounts leads one to believe that the power of love is infinite, eternal and absolute. It is reality and it is truth. Love is the new paradigm on Earth. I understand that it is somewhat awkward to inject love and forgiveness into discussions about realities in the world. Journalists and politicians speak only about the issues of the physical realm. Religious leaders speak mainly about the spiritual realm. The discussions of all of them should focus with equal weight on both the physical and spiritual realms, as both realms are part of the whole of life.

Would you consider our discussion here one which may equate with new paradigm thought? Perhaps we are considering wisdom which has been here for many centuries. As Gandhi replied when asked about his “new” way of thinking: “this wisdom is as old as the hills.”
                      Thank you,
                      Jerry

I hope it is acceptable that here I respond to your latest reply as well, still with some concerns that I am not raising to contradict and argue but to offer some potential help to ourselves in this mission. Not only the overall effect on Earth I referred to, but also my personal experience and research on the topic (with special regard to Jung) confirm these concerns.

I have recently had in-depth discussions on the same topic so I am aware there is no easy way to say this: those who are under the spell of eastern spirituality and are convinced that the divine physical- physiological pleasures it offers is from a heavenly source, don’t take it well when they hear: this isn’t the case.

To face the ultimate issue here: the miraculous and divinely pleasurable spiritual sensations and near-death experiences many seem to identify with “love” and “life” isn’t love and life, but the opposite of these. If we look again at the underlying implications of the arguments laid out what we find is isolated experiences, pointing at, in fact celebrating death (!) rather than improving our shared life on earth. We can’t solve our earthly issues with an expected heaven beyond this life, even if some reports describe and anticipate these experiences as a sensation billion times better than sex. (No one claimed to begin with that our existence has to be about such pleasures, either sex or something else that is so much better.)

This is not to say these experiences are not real, I just need to point out that these are the ultimate temptations rather than manifestations of “love”; they are not from the benevolent source they might appear to be, and they will in no way lead to heaven on earth and will not elevate anyone’s suffering. The unprecedented miserable state of the world is the proof that these words are true – which will remain FACT regardless of some individuals’ miraculous and pleasurable experiences. The third world is in worse state than ever and the first world is sinking into the state where the third world used to be.
Love in the sense of spirituality will not stop and reverse this trend, and will not change those who implemented the process of destruction.

The eastern spirituality has been the deception of all deceptions, the ultimate drug the Western world has been weakened by, hence the effect that the evil took over the earth.

I apologise if this offends anyone – it is not my intention. I needed to say this out loud with the hope that once the message is heard will bring us to a new path towards the real light.

Thank you so much for reading and for your understanding.

Thank you for your interest in discussing. I appreciate and share your enthusiasm for joining with others from around the Earth in attempting to come to a place of greater understanding, and hopefully identifying any positive solutions for humanity in the process. I believe we have an opportunity here to delve into matters in such a way that you and I, all who read our words, and all who join us in this exchange of ideas, will be helped in some way by entering into the talks.

For the sake of clarification I am non-denominational in areas of spirituality and politics. I read somewhere that there are as many paths to God as there are human beings. My view is that no person has the right to interfere with another person’s relationship with God. I have absolutely no interest in quarreling about religion or spirituality because it is a negative activity. I am thankful for being able to talk with you, and others who join us, and find this place intellectually stimulating, full of opportunity for genuine sharing of ideas between men and women. I am ok with this discussion becoming a “marathon” if you will. If you are willing to enter into an extended talk, be assured that I am willing as well.

So we are in the marathon now, the starting gun fired when we began our discussion. Perhaps we can tackle the pleasure seeking aspect first. It would not seem that those who have a NDE were looking to somehow create the heart attack, car accident, complications from surgery, or gunshot wounds etc. which led to the physical condition of almost dying. The young fellow I met was the only person I ever met who said they had a NDE; that is the reason I conveyed his words. My guess is that he did not wake up on the morning of his crash and say, “I’m going to get into an auto accident, break my skull a number of bones to the point of almost dying, then I can have an experience a billion times better than sex.” His “billion times better than sex” reference could be another’s “billion times better than playing Mozart” or “billion times better than writing a great poem” etc. Because they almost died their souls were transported to places which were indescribably beautiful. Because of those experiences, most have become more loving with a greater appreciation for all of life. I am hopeful that you would elaborate on your view that this is the opposite of “love” and “life.”

The NDE of one man, particularly his life review, is an example which pertains to your mention of improving our shared life on Earth. During his life review he would see events where, while watching the replay, he would feel regret. Perhaps he saw himself hurting another physically or emotionally. He would literally feel the pain he was responsible for creating in the other person. This fellow remembers being asked by who he thought was Jesus, “what did you do for your fellow man?” at points along his life review. This man returned and is now aware that life is about what we do for our fellow man.

I would say that your view of celebration of death may come from some type of misunderstanding. Those who had the NDE have no fear of dying, most did not want to come back, but the real value of the descriptions shared in personal NDE accounts is greater understanding of the meaning of life on Earth. If you could elaborate on your view that these are ultimate temptations rather than manifestations of love.

If you could elaborate on your view that Eastern spirituality is the deception of all deceptions. Gandhi considered the Bhagavad Gita his spiritual dictionary. He was a major force in the effort which resulted in India’s independence. Gandhi said,”The Bhagavad Gita calls on humanity to dedicate body, mind and soul to pure duty and not to become voluptuaries (persons whose lives are given over to luxury and personal pleasures) at the mercy of random desires and undisciplined impulses.” Carl Jung said, “The idea that man is like unto an inverted tree seems to have been current in by-gone ages. The link with Vedic conceptions is provided by Plato in his Timaeus in which it states: ‘Behold we are not an Earthly but a heavenly plant.’ This correlation can be discerned by what Krishna expresses in chapter 15 of Bhagavad Gita.”
I would be very interested in what you mean by real light.

              1. Jerry – yes I saw the documentary recently on a Dutch TV-channel. The English title is “The War Campaign”.

Yes, the documentary amounts to evidence against Bush et al, it presents testimonies on how Bush and Blair held their secret meetings to plan the war against Iraq, and how they – with some other politicians – crafted it into an “international” cause to present it as such to the UN. It shows how this lobby bullied the UN into giving a green light to the Iraq invasion, despite the ABSOLUTE LACK OF EVIDENCE for the charges that they maintained against Saddam.

Those interviewed include: Lawrence Wilkerson (former Chief of Staff to Colin Powell), Paul Pillar(national Intelligence Officer, CIA), Christopher Meyer (UK Ambassador to the US), Joseph Wilson (former US diplomat in Iraq and Africa), Frank Grevil (former Danish Intelligence Officer), Hans Blix (Head of the UN Weapons Inspectors in Iraq), Katharine Gun(UK Analyst, MI6) and Nader Mousavizadeb (Advisor to UN Secretary-General Kofi Annantidl).

The above is part of a review I found on the net: http://schillerinstitut.dk/drupal/node/796

Contrary to the opinion of the reviewer quoted above or to that of the film, to me it is evident that the Iraq war – just like all wars – was initiated by the global State known as Bilderberg group. The US and Britain leadership appear as those “starring” in the project, nevertheless the destruction of the world and transferring all powers to this evil group is a global project.

I am wondering how I never heard of this documentary until you mentioned it. Do you think there is a difference in the programs which are shown in America and Europe (I believe you are in Europe), such as documentaries like “The War Campaign”? Most people know nothing about the Bilderberg group. A video by “We Are Change” shows a fearless young man walking up to Charlie Rose and asking Rose for his thoughts on the Bilderbergers, and Rose (paraphrasing) replied, “I have never heard of them.” Any man or woman who claims to be a journalist has to have knowledge of the Bilderberg group. For someone like Charlie Rose to say this, one of the most recognized journalist/interviewers in the world, was quite a revelation.
