Are you, or anyone you know, associated with any city, county or state government? How about any university, pension fund or other public entity? If so, read this bombshell Wall Street article.

Sixteen of the world’s largest banks have been caught colluding to rig global interest rates. Why are we doing business with a corrupt global banking cartel?

United States Attorney General Eric Holder has declared that the too-big-to-fail Wall Street banks are too big to prosecute. But an outraged California jury might have different ideas. As noted in the California legal newspaper The Daily Journal:

  1. “If the American people ever allow private banks to control the issue of their currency first by inflation then by deflation the banks and corporations that will grow up around them will deprive the people of all property until their children wake up homeless on the continent their Fathers conquered… I believe that banking institutions are more dangerous to our liberties than standing armies… The issuing power should be taken from the banks and restored to the people to whom it properly belongs.”

    ― Thomas Jefferson

THE HOUSING CRISIS manufactured to disenfranchise the American individuals of their prime asset and access to credit, by the too big to jail banksters. Millions lost their homes and now Wall Street has bundled a new poison sausage RENT DERIVATIVES . Anyone notice BERKSHIRE HATHAWAY REAL ESTATE signs everywhere ? The Banks are becoming corporate slum lords on a grand scale. Depose the tyranny-nationalize the banks and energy cartels.

    1. John,
Wasn’t it Dennis Kucinich who a few years ago introduced a bill to establish a national public utility system to replace the Federal Reserve. Related to your Berkshire Hathaway (Warren Buffett) Real Estate reference, does anyone remember after the bank bailouts in 2008 Chase banks getting built like Starbucks outlets, on every corner of every city? Change in economic philosophy is occurring but we’re probably in the same boat because it’s happening at what seems like a snail’s pace. The most urgent situation requiring the effort of all people to resolve peacefully is Ukraine, where the clash of economic civilizations and monetary philosophies needs a worldwide demand for peaceful compromise.

      1. Jerry, JFK was self described as a ‘peace at any price’ kind of guy. The Ukraine is caught between a vampire squid and rabid bear. It is hard to decode who is more at fault, greedier, malevolent, The east or the west. The Ukrainian people must unite and throw out all intruders. Screw the EU and the Russians. The Ukraine could develop it’s own economic system, industry and create a stand alone wind and solar infrastructure. Charge Gasprom heavy fees to transport gas across it’s territory. Isn’t Ukraine referred to as the breadbasket of Europe ? What an opportunity for an experiment in isolationist green power , organic agriculture and enlightened non participation in geo-politics and global banking.

        1. John,
I agree. Your suggestion of Ukraine as an opportunity for experimenting with green power, organic farming, sovereign money, etc. is one which the entire world would do well to give a try. It seems the #1 issue in Ukraine is getting to the truth of who carried out the sniper massacre. You have the Nuland – Pyatt phone call, Ashton – Paet phone call and Ashton’s total absence of surprise, the German ARD Monitor report pointing to new govt being behind the snipers – and a coverup by their top-appointed prosecutor’s office, faked anti-Semitic registry papers that John Kerry told the world were real, faked New York Times front page photo “proof”, reports that politicians voted at threat of great bodily harm (and evidently illegally according to their constitution) to impeach Yanukovych, etc. None of these have been reported by American media. More revelations of an astonishing nature are to come, which may prevent the warmongers from having their way. Let’s hope so, and put out all the truth we can.
It’s a difficult situation for people who are peace advocates, no doubt about that.

          1. Jerry

Democracynow.org with Amy Goodman seems to be the only truth seeking independent media news I have encountered. Aljazeera is a distant second but miles ahead of msnbc. Democracynow.org has a facebook page where we could all start contributing comments.

The agent provocateurs in Ukraine are rife on both sides of the fence, IMO. It is important to know what came first the Chicken Kiev or the Deviled Egg. Murder Inc. or Murder.pootie poot ? The sad reality is that IMO-the truth only matters to people like us. Russians are as polarized over the longing for lost empire and their former commie fear factor, as Americans are over lost freedom, equality and opportunity for the common man, and systemic war crimes. To paraphrase Henry Kissinger roughly …’the truth does not matter, as long as they think it’s the truth’…

I would like to see the Ukrainian farmers blockade their borders with tractors and chicken wire , displaying NO TRESSPASSING and NO HUNTING signs.

            1. John,
The unspoken fear people have regarding Ukraine is the unthinkable escalation to all-out nuclear war. It’s what is on everyone’s mind but not spoken except for people like Paul Craig Roberts and plain speakers like him. That possibility, God forbid, is the most harrowing aspect to deal with, and makes the effort to prevent increasingly intense violence more urgent. About the most any person can do is offer analysis and compare the results of all possible options, then point to the option which is best for the Ukrainian people as the one to choose. Options are two: absence of compromise through genuine dialogue with increased violence, and the opposite with peaceful settlement of the crisis. 99.9% of Ukrainians choose the peaceful option – the ultimate and only legitimate referendum. There’s a post title: “99.9% Of Ukrainians Vote For Peace”.

                1. John,
There is some debate as to whether Crimea was seized or the Crimean people voted to walk away. It would be a good thing to see John Kerry, Ukraine’s Foreign Minister and Sergey Lavrov debate on world TV for 4-8 hours, then Barack Obama, Yatseniuk, Yanukovych and Vladimir Putin for 8-12 hours. The worst violence possible would be fists and, because this situation concerns all people, debates would allow people to know the truth. Far-fetched I know, but why not? Debate is the moral choice and, who knows, maybe the world’s people would be the wiser and better for it.

  2. Watch the excellent documentary (now on youtube) The Four Horsemen. The ending is optimistic, which is nice. I’m always feeling depressed over the coming total collapse of the USA through it’s own stupidity and greed.

    1. David,
Yes, Four Horsemen is an excellent documentary. It would’ve been even more powerful if the voices of Ellen Brown and Bill Still were included. Yes, it is saddening to see Wall Street operator’s financial “genius” and greed create conditions where now the nation of Ukraine and that region may become torn up by economic/physical war. Perhaps that’s why the Creator gave us the concept of the “good fight”, the battle of the peacemakers/spiritual warriors. If ever there were a time to engage in the good fight, we’re in it.
